Apparently playing cricket at altitude isnt easy nor is climbing the 'hill'

Yes we have a 'hill' and at its summit Sir Ranulph Fiennes and his team have a flag ( i wonder if he can bowl )

I have checked google earth and the 'hill' is 86mm above sealevel - so be warned anyone who dares to play at Crouch End

Lots for a captain to worry about these days

The sunday league seasons begins with a long journey and a WIN

Lovely ground, nice looking pitch, jolly good game old chap



We won the toss ( im guessing, 50/50 chance ) and decided to have a whack

Mamun 27 - alex 20 - dilan 37 - prashant 25 - DJ 58 - sash 13 ( top score for crouch end ) groundsman logan 21 *

231 in our 45 overs



Bowling felix 10 over 1 for 34 - very well done

Sash Rhoden get the printer on - this is the one you want to see

With previous Calthorpe best figures of 1-108 it was to everyones surprise and delight that Sash Rhody

1 - got the new ball

2 - bowled well

3 - got wickets

4 - didnt drop a catch

There have been some great bowlers the past few years

Walsh - warne - mcgrath - murali - goswami - tanner

Yes that last entry to the hall of fame is right
