Whatever the weather you must always assume that a scheduled game is ON, irrespective of how much rain, snow, or hail you think has fallen out of the sky. Conditions at different grounds vary wildly and we will get notice from the opposition if games are off. As a club we always try our absolute best to make sure games go ahead.
If the game is off we will send emails, and post an update on the website, and Tweet via @simon_tanner @crouchendcc (please follow these on Twitter) that the game is off.
Please try to avoid ringing Peter, Simon or skippers as this delays messages getting through - check the other sources above first before you leave home.
On the very rare occasions where the game is abandoned after starting, you may still be expected to pay a match fee as we will still have to pay for tea, umpires, balls, pitch hire. This doesn't tend to happen very often so sometimes it's just the luck of the draw.
