There have been some great bowlers the past few years
Walsh - warne - mcgrath - murali - goswami - tanner
Yes that last entry to the hall of fame is right
Simon 'hat throwing, screaming, football celebration, pay your subs' Tanner

The game was played on the smallest ground in the league and the nearest to crouch end cc - still 2 of our experienced players turned up late
We batted first and got 292. - steve ross showing why he is the overseas pro and scored 60 - everyone else chipped in and decent last wicket partnership from Charles and ST
Their run chase started terribly - slow run rate and loss of wickets had NL on 70/5 on 15 overs - even a 20 off an over didnt help them
A crazy next 15 overs saw nearly 200 runs
Enter Simon Tanner, a "low" bowled and normal bowled got rid of the danger men
A calm and cool ST celebrates with a smile and says well batted ( not likely !!! Anyone who has ever seen a ST wicket will never forget - what a hooligan )
Cheared on by our loyal travelling fans. Mr Richard Pfiefer takes slowest stumping / run out ever to win the game by 5 runs
Nearly 600 runs in the day - cricket was the winner :)

Well done steve - runs and wickets
Well done simon - hero status - T-shirts available on club web site 'ive seen a ST wicket'

Next week is the awards - hope this sways your votes !
See u all in 2013

Just the release on tension after being asked to bowl at the toughest part of the game.  I love bowling people out just ask Hitman!

Yes the NLCC carted me for two of the biggest 6's I've gone for but getting him bowled (just clipping off stump) was a real pleasure.  Apologies to my teammates for the expletives I just wanted to make sure we won the game after setting such a good total and I don't think we've beaten NLCC before in my 19 years at the club.
